Supporting the hospital at the heart of our community

“Knowing that they have helped make a difference to the lives of future hospital patients is reward enough for being a headline sponsor”, says Callum Biscoe, owner and director of C&B Electrical Contractors Ltd.

Supporting the hospital that looks after so many people here in Milton Keynes means a lot to all of us at C&B Electrical. When the opportunity came up to be a headline sponsor of the Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Masquerade Ball on Friday 17 October, we knew we wanted to get involved.

Knowing that we’re helping to make a difference to future patients is rewarding enough.

The evening was full of meaningful and memorable moments. Listening to the heartfelt stories of cancer survivors really brought home just how much the hospital means to local families. We also heard about some of the incredible projects the charity is working on, including a new memory corridor for dementia patients, designed to help people feel calmer and more comfortable during their stay.

And it was lovely to see funds raised for a whole year of entertainment on the Children’s Ward. Bringing joy, distraction and laughter to young patients and their families during tough times is something we’re proud to support.

A night of generosity and celebration

Thanks to the amazing generosity of sponsors, guests and donors, a brilliant £59,500 was raised through sponsorships, auctions and donations. These funds will support improvements across the hospital that will benefit patients, families and staff for years to come.

There was plenty of fun too. With the auctioneer James Lewis keeping the room buzzing and the Romeo Dance Academy performing a stunning Masquerade scene, everyone had a fantastic time while supporting a vital cause.

Being part of such a positive, uplifting event was simply great fun and genuinely inspiring.

The hospital plays such an important role in our community, and the dedication of its staff motivates us every day.

Proud to give something back

We want to say a huge thank you to Milton Keynes Hospital Charity and everyone involved in organising the gala, as well as all who donated on the night. Your support will have a real and lasting impact.

Giving back locally is a big part of who we are as a business, and we look forward to continuing to support causes that make a difference in our community.
